Why has nobody investigated this? From the recurring cast of characters and imagery in Lou Reed's songs, it's obvious that he was severely traumatized as a child by witnessing the events described here. I will go so far as to propose a likely scenario: an extremely wealthy (and possibly noble of lineage), fat English pervert by the name of Cecil, with a huge (walled?) estate on the water (in the Hamptons?) who threw sex parties for his gay friends, snuff parties, perhaps, (or maybe they just ended up that way because someone threatened him with blackmail). Anyway, one of the regular guests (some aging queen, i imagine), picked up a sailor somewhere and brought him (he's probably the would-be blackmailer), whereupon Cecil promptly killed him. Dismembering seems likely. (It's also very possible that a policeman sent in to investigate also met the same fate.) |
