I really like this song it may not be the best but it really does make you want to learn the lyrics and want to learn how to play all the instruments...and PLUS the video is very very good I dont know I just love it when they sing and make their cool faces in the videos..ok Im crazy... |

A song doesn't have to be SOAD's best to have 5 stars.
Lyrics: The lyrics are hard to decipher because they're very symbolic; the song seems to have a unique meaning of life: we're "one" until we're born, where we're individual beings, and we're all "one" again after death. Retaining individual status after death is a staple in Christian thought, and this is a very unique interpretation of death. The band themselves seem to have varying beliefs, and I think this makes their lyrics even more interesting.
Rhythm: Probably one of the best rhythms in any SOAD song. It's very strong and makes this song stand out.
Instruments: This was my favorite song for the longest time because, not only does SOAD play their respective instruments excellently, Serj's voice becomes an instrument as well. The voice matches the chords perfectly, to the point that you can hear the lyrics even if they were to be removed.
Vocal: Serj Tankian is by far the most extensive vocalist I've ever seen. He can hit high notes, low notes, give a throaty scream, and can even hold notes for longer than most can hold their breaths. His low tone-for-tone match of Aerials is perfect.
Overall: I believe this is one of SOAD's best songs. They end the album with an excellent song, making you eager to hear more! |

Great song, I remember it from years!!!!!!..............ago. Long long time ago. The vocalist was a great one and he made it sound very unique. This is by far the best SOAD song on this list.  |
