Michael Wilton is one of the great guitarists of the 80s and 90s, and deserves to be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, along with the other members of Queensryche. This is Queensryche at the pinnacle of their creative genius(circa 198, although the album that followed this one, 'Empire' is equally as devastating. The lyrics seem to bring on visions of a ruthless cult, government/intelligence agency mind-control programming and other kinds of nonconsensual, structured abuses that seem to occur in various 'democratic' societies around the globe.
