Da Dip 6/26/2006 9:34:04 AM arnold Posts: 2 Lawd Ham Merci! I recorded the video to this song when it first came out and over the weekend, I popped the tape into my VCR. The first song was Da Dip! I remember when it first came out. An associate at work and I both thought it was a little too raw for her then pre-teen son until we saw the video. After that we just laughed. The beats and the hook are great. Too bad it was just another one-hit wonder. Nevertheless, I still have it on videotape. Compared to today's rapp songs and hip-hop videos, this one is quite tame. Overall I give this song an 8 on a 1-10 scale. Its still a funky, upbeat song and an instrumental remix would work wonders for a DJ on the dance floor at any club today. Most young people who frequent nightclubs now, were just babies when this song came out. It could become a club-cult classic. Who Knows?
