Jerkin' Back 'n' Forth 2/10/2006 10:57:14 PM alanismyuser Posts: 19 Lyrics: Rhythm: Instruments: Vocal: Overall: The intro is very forboding, the lyrics pick up right away. Sometimes, DEVO tends to mingle with itself, but here it is clear that the lyrics are the main focus. I like the way the verses sound, and the "you think it's funny, but what I say is true, the reason that I live like this is all because of you" gives me chills. The chorus of "you got me jerkin' back and forth", is probably my least favorite part of the song. But the lyrics overall, are simply brilliant.
