it's about regretting how you treated someone that has passed on. Once you've lost someone close to you her words will ring all too true. She's hit the nail on the head, at least for me. I understand every word of this song. It's about missing that person, and feeling so bad that you didn't change things before it was too late. Really read the lyrics, and think about what they mean.
But i guess it's a good thing that you don't understand the meaning... that means you haven't had to lose someone dear to you.

I like the song to!! I never lost anybody but I know what it meens cuz one of my friends lost there grandma and aunt in 1 month. |

I also love this song. I've just made the experience in losing somebody pretty close to me due to my mistakes. I can feel every word in my aching heart.  |
